Meet the Makers

Reign_wala’s macrame jewelry collection is designed in partnership with Sunny Kumawat. Since starting to make jewelry together, Sunny has trained more than ten women in the village of Khori, Rajasthan, India, who now hand-knot every single one of our pieces.

From head to toe

Believe it or not, macrame cannot be made by a machine — it must be hand-knotted. Each piece requires 2-6 hours of knotting to create.

Knots & Charms

Our charms are made by pouring liquefied brass into a mold the shape of the charm. Once cooled, charms are removed from the mold and hand-brushed clean. Our brass pieces contain no nickel, so they will never tarnish or turn your skin green.
